Moon Over Broadway, has a special place in my heart, as it is the first song that opens the album, Neptune: Dreams of Venus. It’s another suite of my poems that came together wonderfully to blend cohesively and paint one common picture.

I personally love the music too, as I’m a big fan of upright bass guitars, though, I don’t have one at this time, I played a sampled bass that sounds incredible. The drums are real drums from my so-called “Covid Sessions” where I tracked drums for future recordings.

In the end, what you end up with, is a funky, jazzy, laid back, rock inspired palate of sounds. To my ears, the words and images were destined to come together, like Romeo and Juliet under the moon.
